We had a fantastic stay at Casa Maya Villa! The room was beautifully furnished and had a perfectly working air conditioner, which kept us cool during the hot days. The location was quiet and peaceful, and it was just a short walk into town. We loved dining at the nearby pizza place, especially when the electricity went out and the candlelit ambiance made it romantic. The WiFi worked well for most of our stay, and even though it didn't always connect, it wasn't a major issue in the area. Plus, who needs hot showers in Santa Catalina? we highly recommend Casa Maya Villa for a relaxing stay near the great beaches.

We had an excellent long weekend stay at Casa Maya! A personal welcome note, clean house, quiet air conditioning, and great host. Located next to an Italian ice cream parlor and pizza place, with short drives to Estero Beach and delicious local restaurants. Perfect for our family of 4, we enjoyed snorkeling, surfing, and relaxing on the beach. For the price, location, and comfort, I don't think you can beat Casa Maya. It has everything you need and more, including regular cleaning and solid WiFi. We will be back!

our recent stay in santa catalina was perfect, and casa maya villa was the highlight! paula and her husband were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond for us. the clean cabins and quiet location were exactly what we needed. a short walk to town and the beach made it even better. highly recommend!

Wifi was a bit spotty.

The house is colourful and well-designed, with a friendly Italian woman who owns the three small houses. There is a nice open-air pizzeria nearby, and everything we needed was provided in our little blue house. the center of Catalina is a short walk away, and there are several nice coffee places and a beautiful beach with an Italian restaurant. the Estero beach is great for beginner surfers, and the overall atmosphere of Santa Catalina is relaxing and beautiful.

The cabin at Casa Maya Villa was immaculate and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed, including a kitchen and fridge. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful atmosphere while still being close to the village and beach. Paola, the owner, was friendly and attentive. we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return.

The shower, which had inconsistent water temperature.

During my recent stay at Casa Maya, I experienced the best self-catering accommodation in Panama. The villa was equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a good fridge-freezer, filter coffee machine, and a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of pots and cooking utensils. The air-conditioned bedrooms provided a comfortable and cool environment to relax in. Additionally, the location was perfect, with three excellent restaurants within a convenient 100-yard distance.

One specific situation I encountered was the power outage in the evening. However, the hotel owner was incredibly apologetic and even left a note to apologize for the inconvenience.

The location of the hotel is ideal, situated between two beautiful beaches and close to several great restaurants. the rooms are well equipped, with amenities such as parking, a hammock, and a kitchenette. the friendly owner also provides helpful recommendations for local activities like boat tours and horse riding on the beach.

The hotel could benefit from improving the shower temperature control and adding a soap holder inside.

We enjoyed exploring the nearby restaurants such as Time Out, Chano's, and La Moncheria for delicious ice creams. the owner, Paola, provided great recommendations for local restaurants and activities like boat tours and horse riding on the beach. the cabana had a convenient parking spot, a lovely outside area with a hammock and table with chairs, a comfortable living room, a kitchenette, and a private bathroom. It was a pleasant, quiet, and comfortable stay at an affordable price.

The location is a bit far from the village, around a 15-minute walk, but it offers a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Also, there are great dining options nearby, such as the delicious pizza place next door or the ice cream shop. The apartment is exceptionally clean and comfortable, with air conditioning in the bedrooms to keep you cool during hot days.

The shower can be a bit tricky to find the right temperature, but it's a minor inconvenience in an otherwise enjoyable stay.
